Your Role in Supporting Our Members:

As anOperations Manager, you’ll manage building operations at 312 Main and play a key role in driving sales - building and improving the systems, processes, and internal and external partner relationships that support leasing, marketing, and long-term sustainability.

You’ll also bring a thoughtful, strategic lens to how we operate - helping refine policies, practices, and processes so they are clear, effective, and aligned with our goals. As part of this work, you’ll regularly look at how we’re performing and identify opportunities to more deeply embed REDI and decolonization principles into the way we make decisions and run our organization.

This is aFull-Time, Permanentrole based at our312 Main Street Office.

How You'll Make an Impact:

Business Development

  • Designing and executing business development strategies for the basement, ground, and second-floor spaces to drive revenue and community impact

  • Leading sales, tours, and partnership outreach to prospective members, tenants, and community organizations

  • Developing and delivering marketing and communications strategies, including social media, newsletters, and impact reporting

  • Strengthening brand presence and member engagement through compelling storytelling and community activation

  • Fostering strong member relationships to support retention, satisfaction, and a consistent experience

  • Maintaining accurate administrative and CRM records to support reporting, planning, and operational efficiency

  • Contributing to organizational strategic planning with insights that support sustainable growth and mission alignment

  • Acting as an ambassador for 312 Main within the Downtown Eastside and broader stakeholder community

Operations & Financial Management

  • Leading building and program operations, including digital systems, workflows, and software platforms that support efficiency and member experience

  • Collecting, analyzing, and reporting operational data to inform evidence-based decision-making and continuous improvement

  • Managing licence agreements, leases, bookings, and invoicing in coordination with finance and property management partners

  • Overseeing contracts and accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure financial accuracy and compliance

  • Recommending and implementing process improvements based on data, feedback, and organizational priorities

  • Developing and maintaining member policies, procedures, and the Disaster Plan to support safety, inclusion, and continuity

  • Managing website and member portal updates to ensure accurate, accessible information

  • Supervising and mentoring the Operations Coordinator

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • 5+ years’ experience in operations within nonprofit, social enterprise, or multi-use community spaces

  • Demonstrated success in business development, revenue generation, and partnership growth

  • Strong marketing, communications, and stakeholder engagement skills, including tours and value-based storytelling

  • Ability to balance commercial performance with social mission and community impact

  • Experience managing building or program operations, contracts, leases, and service agreements

  • Working knowledge of budgeting, invoicing, A/P and A/R, and financial coordination

  • Systems thinker with experience improving digital tools, workflows, and operational processes using data insights

  • Experience developing policies, safety/continuity plans, and overseeing IT/vendor coordination

  • Proven ability to supervise and mentor staff while maintaining strong organizational discipline

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally

  • Ability to lift and transport materials or equipment up to 30 lbs in support of day-to-day operations

What You’ll Earn:

This role offers a salary range of**$91,000 to $102,000 per annum**. The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
