Founded on the legacy of Rick Hansen’s Man In Motion World Tour, the Rick Hansen Foundation (RHF) is a Canadian registered charity with the vision of creating a fully inclusive and accessible world where people with disabilities are living to their full potential. Through our programs and partnerships, we break down barriers for people with disabilities by changing attitudes, creating accessible spaces, and inspiring an inclusive society.

Established in 1988, following the completion of Rick Hansen’s Man In Motion World Tour, the Foundation continues to raise funds and awareness to create a world without barriers for people with disabilities. Our goal is to create an inclusive world where people with disabilities can reach their full potential.
Today, there are more than 1.3 billion people living in the world with some form of a disability, and the numbers are growing. Around the world, people with disabilities not only face physical barriers but also social, economic and attitudinal barriers. We provide solutions to achieve real change through collaboration, partnerships and teamwork.
