Position Overview:
The Interconnected Merchandising Specialist reports to the Interconnected Merchant, collaborates with cross functional teams to support merchandising business to achieve department and category goals. The specialist is responsible for maintaining and managing data accuracy as it relates to article listings, supplier base and marketing activity. This role communicates with internal and external partners, support store and vendor inquiries and ensures a high level of service to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Article & Master Data Management
Onboard new articles (store, online, offshelf, display, virtual bundles).
Prioritize onboarding flows for optimal online performance and presale coordination.
Assign SAP hierarchy categorization and coordinate updates.
Maintain article data: cost, retail, status, Product Information Record (PIRs), channel management data, assortment listings.
Support enhancements of product information pages (PIP).
Support hierarchy changes, buyback processes, and clearance reviews.
Vendor & Costing Management
Process vendor onboarding, data update & maintenance.
Facilitate co-op & Rebate contracts.
Support vendor inquiries.
Support with PO data issues, cost discrepancies, and Accounts Payable
Promotions, Off-Shelf & Product Line Review (PLR) Execution, Pricing Management
Manage Off-Shelf tool submissions, support sample coordination, and vendor communications.
Execute pricing strategies, New Lower Price (NLPs) and Special Buy (SBs) with vendors including support with pricing review process.
Support PLR processes including sample submissions, logistics, etc.
Support marketing submissions for instore and online including compliance with market/provincial promo requirements.
Issue Resolution, Communication & Strategic Support
Resolve data issues, UPC/shrink concerns, and listing/de-listing requests.
Support internal communications: roadshows, learning sessions, My Apron, and Canada Communications.
Support with store, online, SSC and vendor department inquiries/escalations including cross functional collaboration.
Contribute to departmental initiatives, analytics, and reporting improvements.
Participate, as required, in strategic projects and innovation efforts to drive department growth and efficiency
Support administrative tasks, as required.

Travel Requirements:
Limited
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles
On Site Work – In office Mon – Fri (1 Concorde Gate, North York)
Working Conditions:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable
Minimum Education:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Minimum Years of Work Experience:
1-2 years of experience in retail, eCommerce, merchandising, or a role within a corporate environment.
The pay range for this position is between $55,100.00 - $62,000.00
