About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a . As Sous Chef you will be responsible for supervising and managing all aspects of food preparation, handling, and service in our restaurant.
Duties: - Supervise and coordinate all activities in the kitchen and restaurant - Ensure food is prepared and served in accordance with established standards - Oversee food safety practices and ensure compliance with health regulations - Train and mentor staff on proper food handling and preparation techniques - Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients and supplies - Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and specials - Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Qualifications: - Previous experience in restaurant management or a similar role is necessary - Strong knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety practices - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
