About the role

For more information about our product line: https://www.pavemetrics.com/ The application expert works within the systems group and contributes to the design, production and implementation of tailor-made solutions for our customers. The role combines a variety of technical activities including assembly, cabling, software and network configuration, prototype development and customer support. The position also involves occasional trips to customers for the installation and support of the systems.

As Applications Expert, you must be able to

  • Participate in the design and conception of solutions adapted to the needs of the customers.
  • Propose technological approaches.
  • Manufacture prototypes and perform functional tests.
  • Install and commission systems at customers' sites.
  • Contribute to the production of new solutions.
  • Configure networks and servers and write technical documentation.
  • Carry out mechanical and electronic assembly.
  • Offer hardware and software technical support to customers.
  • Analyze and interpret data to solve operational problems.

What Makes You An Asset To Our Team

  • DEC or BAC in electrical or physical engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Mechanics (intermediate): reading plans, editing and communicating with engineers.
  • Electronics (intermediate): electrical circuits, power supply, wiring and harnesses.
  • Computer science (intermediate): software installation, Windows/Linux configuration, networking.
  • Software (novice): notions of programming.
  • Optics (Novice): Basic knowledge of lasers, cameras, and lenses.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and solve technical problems.
  • Ability to travel and work regularly on-site with international clients.
  • Ability to communicate in French and English.
