Shaft Pusher

Position Summary

The Shaft Pusher is responsible for the safe, continuous operation of a die cast machine to consistently produce high quality aluminum parts as measured by specific production targets. Shift Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 10 hour weekly rotating shifts (Days 7:00am - 5:00pm; Afternoons 5:00pm - 3:00am)

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Contribute to the safe continuous operation of a die cast machine. Ensure consistent quality as it relates to specified production performance targets per hour. Accurate record-keeping/documentation (pre-start safety checks, production, daily scrap, downtime, etc.) Housekeeping of work area; keeping it clean and free of debris to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.

Skills & Qualifications

1 - 4 years die cast experience preferred. Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to change. Problem solving & troubleshooting skills. Mechanically inclined. Strong hand/eye coordination. Detail oriented.
