Your Role
As the Food Services Manager, you will oversee all aspects of food service operations—from menu planning and food preparation to safety, sanitation, and team leadership. You’ll work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure meals meet nutritional standards, resident preferences, and legislative requirements.
️ Key Responsibilities
- Design and rotate menus aligned with Canada’s Food Guide and resident feedback.
- Lead and mentor the kitchen team, ensuring high performance and a positive work culture.
- Manage dietary needs and special diets in collaboration with physicians and dieticians.
- Maintain compliance with Park Place policies, health regulations, and safety standards.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and participate in site leadership and safety committees.
- Support and participate in resident events and celebrations, making food a highlight of every occasion.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a Nutritional Management Program (CSNM membership eligibility required).
- Proven leadership in food services, preferably in senior living or healthcare.
- Strong communication, organization, and team collaboration skills.
- Physical ability to meet the demands of a dynamic kitchen environment.
