Purpose

This role is responsible for managing and overseeing various accounting functions within the organization. This role involves preparing financial statements, conducting complex reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The Senior Accountant will work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Conduct complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.

Certifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in related discipline.
