About the role
What it’s like to be a Northbridge Learning Specialist As a Learning Specialist, you’ll play a key role in shaping meaningful, modern learning experiences that empower employees to grow and thrive. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and partners across the organization to plan, design, and deliver learning solutions that build capability and support a continuous learning culture. You’ll blend instructional design expertise with emerging learning technologies—including AI—to create engaging digital learning, facilitate dynamic sessions, and manage learning programs from end to end. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that brings learning to life across Northbridge.
We want your talent! If you are great at:
- Designing engaging learning experiences using adult learning principles, digital learning tools, and emerging AI capabilities
- Facilitating virtual and in‑person learning sessions with confidence and impact
- Partnering with SMEs and leaders to understand learning needs and shape effective solutions
- Managing programs and projects with strong planning, coordination, and attention to detail
You have:
- Post‑secondary education in Adult Education, Instructional Design, a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience designing and delivering employee development programs, including eLearning and blended approaches
- Hands‑on experience with learning technologies (LMS/LXP, reporting tools, AI‑enabled tools)
- Strong facilitation skills across diverse programs and audiences
- Experience supporting change initiatives and applying practical change management concepts
We really mean it when we say we put you first. Here are a few ways how:
- Hybrid work! Work from the office and at home 50/50—enjoy the flexibility you need to thrive in both spaces.
- Competitive compensation plus support for your financial well‑being through our employee share purchase plan, pension plans, RRSP, staff insurance discounts, and more.
- Well‑being from day one with flexible health benefits, wellness programs, rewards and recognition, and early leave days.
- Career growth, including education assistance for CIP, FCIP, CRM or other courses, leadership training, mentoring programs, and internal mobility.
- A company that cares, offering donation matching and volunteer days so you can support the causes you believe in.
We’re committed to pay transparency and fairness. The base salary range for this role is $72,000 - $108,000, which reflects the expected base pay – not the total compensation package. The actual base salary may vary depending on your experience, skills, and alignment with the position. We’re also open to candidates at different levels, so if this range doesn’t quite match your expectations, don’t let that hold you back — we’d still love to hear from you.
This is a real opportunity — we’re actively hiring! If the role sounds like a good fit, we encourage you to apply. Beyond base pay, we offer a robust Total Rewards program that includes benefits, wellness support, and other meaningful perks.
We also want to be transparent about our hiring process. While one of our systems includes AI capabilities, over 99% of our screening is done by real people. We believe in thoughtful, human-centered hiring decisions, and are committed to giving every application the attention it deserves.
