Sanitation Technician
Sanitation Workers are responsible for sanitizing and washing of equipment and machinery in our production facility. Sanitation Workers will be responsible for following established safety, food safety and quality procedures.
The following list of duties and responsibilities of the Sanitation Worker is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities of the job described. Rather they are intended only to describe the general nature of the job.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to Safety, GMP, SSOP, WHMIS and HACCP principles
- Wash and sanitize equipment, containers and surfaces inside and outside the Plant
- Disassembly and assembly of equipment
- Adhere to any lockout procedures and report any broken, damaged or unsafe equipment
- Handle and mix Industrial Strength chemicals
- Other duties as directed by Supervisors
Qualifications
- Able to handle heavy lifting, pushing and pulling of up to 25 kg
- Experience with food safety and HACCP principles
- Must be dependable and hold an above average attendance record
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude (operation of equipment)
- Good communication skills and able to work well in a team environment
- Ability to work well under pressure and with little supervision
- Responsible to acquire and maintain a hand truck/forklift certificate
Job Type: Full-time
Pay Rate: $21.65-$22.65 per hour
Plus applicable shift premiums + attendance bonus

Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Graveyard shift
