What will you do?
The Vertical Sales OEM Lead will be responsible for activities in Canada to achieve sales, profit and growth targets the OEM segment. Your main responsibilities include managing sales resources strategically to meet goals for sales, market share, pricing mix, and financial performance set by product division and sales leadership. You will also design and oversee sales initiatives and programs that impact key stakeholders-such as customers, distributors, partners, and employees. Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and key decision makers will be essential to this role.
- Responsible for providing strategy to identify and develop prospective new customer, key trends and significant issues providing direction for the strategic planning process, ensure the Canadian region maintains effective relationships with and service to customers.
- Build strong relationship with US OEM teams to align with priorities.
- Ensure effective and skilled staff through assessment of talent, training and development, goal setting communication and conformance to applicable company policies.
- Advise senior management of customer and competitive developments that impact sales growth and profitability and recommend strategies and decision options to counteract market pressure.
- Work closely with product divisions to implement strategies focused on the geographic, customer industry and market needs.
- Review monthly forecasts with accuracy to ensure Canda meets the OEM numbers on a monthly basis, oversee efficient execution-n/ability to execute sales quotes, cost control, leveraging subcontractors and turn of backlog and projects.
- Collaborate with regions and product lines to pursue new business opportunities and initiative
- Lead and develop the sales team to ensure growth for the business and the team members

Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent

Proven track record leading a sales team
-
Minimum of 10 to 15 years of sales or marketing experience in the OEM segment

Minimum of 5 years of experience as manager of people
-
Must have a valid driver's licence and be able to travel up to 50%
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering
-
MBA preferred
-
Prior P&L experience
-
Experience in an indirect sales model with agents and distribution nationwide

Bachelor’s degree required with a preference for technical degrees
-
Proficiency in French language is an asset.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $135000 - $169000 a year. You are also eligible to a sales incentive program.
