Continuous Improvement Manager
About the role
Our Client, an industry leader in continuous materials processing, has recently expanded its North American operations and is seeking a highly capable Continuous Improvement Manager to take the helm of 2 production facilities.
The Continuous Improvement Manager drives operational excellence by leading initiatives to enhance efficiency, optimize processes, and reduce waste across manufacturing operations. Using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen, this role focuses on analyzing workflows, developing and implementing improvement strategies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities for the CI Manager will include leading cross-functional projects, training and coaching teams, using data and KPIs to measure progress, and ensuring alignment with business goals. Success in this role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proven leadership and communication abilities, project management expertise, and proficiency with CI tools and data analysis platforms.
Candidates who possess an Engineering or Maintenance background, as well as have prior experience within unionized, continuous manufacturing environments, will be strongly positioned for success in this leadership opportunity. In addition, a foundation within the automotive production industry will be of great interest to our Client.
