Job Title: Pasts Picker

Job Summary:
Camus Hydronics Ltd. is seeking a Material Parts Picker’s to maintain production and distribution of product by accurately picking parts from inventory for various jobs based on planned shop orders. Parts orders that are shipped by courier are packaged and shipped by the Material Parts Picker.

Essential Duties:

• Must possess mechanical aptitude and related skill set.

• Read and interpret production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to identify required items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.

• Accurately pick correct parts and quantities from storage locations based on work orders or pick lists.

• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute them to production or assembly personnel.

• Use computers and scan guns to enter records and maintain accurate inventory.

• Operate forklifts as needed, as well as use material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or order pickers to retrieve and move items.

• Fully support and participate in promoting safety at all times.

• Ability to work well with fellow employees, including active participation in employee involvement activities and problem-solving.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must be prompt and regular in attendance, including overtime.

• Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.

• Other Duties: As assigned by the supervisor.

Regular interaction with internal team members on routine matters, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment is preferred.

Working Conditions and Hazards:

• Work is primarily performed in a plant, shop, or field setting with normal working conditions.

• Occasional exposure to slightly disagreeable conditions. Little to no exposure to hazardous environments.
