About This Opportunity
LOUD Art Society, in partnership with the City of Calgary’s Culture Days, is calling for artists to submit works for its 2026 group exhibition, Unity in Diversity: Colours of Healing. The exhibition will run in downtown Calgary from September 1–26, 2026, with a potential complementary virtual gallery. The call welcomes artists working in 2D and 3D media—including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, mixed media, fibre and other visual art forms. Professional artists with five or more years of practice are eligible for an artist fee of $200, while emerging artists, students and past LAS participants are encouraged to apply. Artists may submit up to three pieces, and works may be offered for sale; LOUD Art Society does not take commission on sales and will connect interested buyers directly with the artist. The submission deadline is August 5, 2026 at 11:59 pm MT. The call emphasizes equity, inviting racialized, immigrant, newcomer and other equity‑deserving artists to explore themes of healing, identity, culture, community and transformation.
