Caron is currently recruiting a Billing Representative on a temporary, twelve (12) month basis. This role is based out of our Head Office in Sherwood Park with typical office hours of Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.

This is your opportunity to join one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies. Our Billing Representative reports directly to the Accounting Supervisor. They are responsible for the accurate and timely processing of trip reports to coincide with semi-monthly pay and deals directly with our customers for receivables and performs general office duties and assists with projects as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Responsibilities
    • Process invoices to coincide with driver pay
    • High volume data entry
    • Communicate with customers on rate discrepancies and requests
    • Collection of selected past due accounts via email, telephone and spreadsheets
    • Communicate with co-workers regarding invoicing and driver pay issues
    • Process company or owner operator pay including verified WCB clearances as required
    • Meet deadlines for driver pay and month end
    • Assist with Reception if required
    • General office duties such as photocopying, scanning, filing, etc.
  • Participate in all safety related programs and education
  • Perform assigned tasks in accordance with the Caron QMS and production standards required by the Company and the industry as a whole
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor/management

Qualifications:

  • High School or GED
  • 1 - 5 years of billing or Accounting experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft office suite of products
  • Experience with Axon will be considered an asset
