JOB DESCRIPTION
This Commercial Program Manager is responsible for orchestrating complex, non-standard commercial initiatives that span Valuations, Deal Management, Pricing, Legal, At-Risk, and other commercial stakeholders. This role functions as the central coordination and control point for non-standard contracts and commercial programs, ensuring alignment, clarity, and disciplined execution from intake through completion.
Operating as a project manager within the Commercial Operations function, this role ensures that non-standard commercial activity moves efficiently, transparently, and in alignment with RB’s governance, risk, and financial objectives. The Commercial Program Manager brings structure to complexity, drives accountability across teams, and enables informed, timely decision-making
We welcome applicants from any geographic location. While the role is not tied to a specific office, the employee will be required to follow our hybrid work guidelines and regularly work onsite at the closest Company office to them.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the central point of coordination for non-standard commercial contracts and initiatives that flow across Valuations, Deal Management, Pricing, Legal, and At-Risk functions.
- Own intake, scoping, sequencing, and tracking of non-standard commercial work.
- Translate commercial complexity into clear project plans, timelines, and decision paths.
- Coordinate workstreams across Valuations, Deal Management, Pricing, Legal, Finance, and At-Risk teams.
- Ensure the right stakeholders are engaged at the right time to avoid rework, delays, or risk exposure.
- Prepare decision materials, summaries, and recommendations for review by the Director, Commercial Operations and other approvers.
- Track approvals, conditions, and follow-ups to ensure commitments are executed as agreed
- Monitor progress, risks, and issues across active commercial programs and non-standard deals.
- Proactively identify bottlenecks, misalignment, or emerging risks and escalate appropriately.
- Partner with At-Risk teams to ensure commercial exposure is understood and mitigated.
- Establish and maintain standardized workflows, templates, and documentation for non-standard commercial activity.
- Identify opportunities to improve cycle times, transparency, and stakeholder experience.
- Support the evolution of scalable commercial operating rhythms.
- Provide regular status updates and clear communication to stakeholders and leadership.
- Act as a neutral facilitator to resolve conflicts, clarify trade-offs, and keep initiatives moving forward.
- Ensure Commercial intent and decision are clearly documented and communicated
QUALIFICATIONS
- 6–10 years of experience in program management, commercial operations, deal management, finance, consulting, or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed environment.
- Strong understanding of commercial contracts, deal structures, and risk considerations
- Proven ability to manage ambiguity and drive outcomes without direct authority.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working closely with Legal, Finance, or Risk teams preferred.
Pay for the Commercial Program Manager will be based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications and geographical location.
