ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skill and Experience)

Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.

1 year experience in an institutional healthcare setting.

Knowledge in the identification and care of instruments and procedure trays.
-
Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
-
Knowledge and skill to maintain supplies and equipment.
-
Ability to complete the required environmental cleaning.
-
Excellent communication/time management/priority setting skills.
-
Demonstrated knowledge of asepsis principles.
-
Central Services Techniques Course preferred.
-
Satisfactory attendance.
