Videographer – Education Event Recap
About the role
An AI education company is seeking an experienced videographer based in Vancouver, Canada to cover a student event on July 17th at St. Georges School. The role involves 2–4 hours of onsite filming, capturing high-quality audio, dynamic b-roll of students and mentors, and producing a polished 60–90 second recap video. Additionally, the videographer will create 3–5 short vertical clips optimized for social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of education or event recap videos and be able to deliver engaging, professional content that highlights the energy and impact of the event.
Responsibilities
Film onsite at St. Georges School in Vancouver for 2–4 hours during the Inspirit AI student event Capture clear, high-quality audio and compelling b-roll footage of students and mentors Produce a 60–90 second recap video summarizing the event’s highlights Create 3–5 short vertical video clips suitable for social media sharing Ensure all deliverables are professionally edited and meet usage requirements for ads, social, and web Provide raw footage upon request and confirm full usage rights for all content Communicate estimated turnaround time and details about audio equipment used
Skills And Requirements
Proven experience in event videography, with a portfolio showcasing similar education or event recap projects Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) Strong understanding of audio capture and equipment for live events Ability to deliver polished, engaging video content under tight deadlines Availability on July 17th in Vancouver, Canada Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Willingness to provide raw footage and confirm full usage rights for all deliverables Experience creating vertical video content for social media platforms is highly desirable
