The Ministry of Immigration and Career Training Program Compliance Branch is seeking two Client Service Officers (CSO), one for a two-year term and one for a one-year term position. Working in a fast-paced customer service environment, the CSO is responsible for providing customer service to foreign nationals, employers, and individuals who are, or are applying to become, licensed Foreign Worker Recruiters or Immigration Consultants.

Reporting to the Program Compliance Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing client service to a variety of stakeholders by telephone, email and in person;
  • Supporting Program Compliance Officers and Program Enforcement Officers in the administration of the Immigration Services Act and the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program;
  • Creating and amending communications to effectively communicate with stakeholders regarding program criteria and processes; and
  • Assisting in administrative tasks such as onboarding and offboarding of employees.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Knowledge of business practices and office procedures;
  • The ability to use databases and computer software;
  • The ability to apply program processes and make decisions within the parameters of the program area and policies;
  • Excellent communication skills in explaining processes and programs to clients; and
  • An enthusiastic team player who tactfully and respectfully supports colleagues to promote a positive work environment.

Typically, the knowledge and experience required to achieve the above is obtained through a diploma in Business Administration coupled with experience working in a program delivery setting.
