About the opportunity

The Associate Manager, Market Insights is responsible for developing and maintaining reports that support strategic decision-making across all retail business accounts. This role ensures the delivery of consistent and accurate data, aligned with metrics agreed upon with key stakeholders to establish a single source of truth. Additionally, the position leverages technology to automate and enhance all data-related process improvements.

Responsible for the creation, maintenance, automation and distribution of weekly BI

dashboards, encompassing all Retail business accounts and segments. Acts as a subject matter

expert on all data needs. 20%

Leverage deep understanding of workflow automation, machine learning and predictive

modeling, to champion the adoption of such tools to automate manual tasks across multiple

operational teams 15%

Develop and maintain a reporting portal for One Lactalis to help centralize all data needs 10%

Assist and lead some portions of the Shopper Study within Lactalis insights team 10%

Assist in communication of various global insights to cross functional teams and improve

storytelling and negotiation mindset within the organization. Convert insights into “So What”

and influence all cross functional partners to an aligned solution 10%

Work with cross functional teams (including IT) on managing Data projects on BI to be the

single source of truth for category, sales, marketing and global teams 10%

Act as an internal consultant to review existing sales processes and recommend

improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Strategize on developing templates,

tools and reports 10%

Combine available internal (e.g. SAP, TPM, TPO) and external sources of data (e.g. Nielse

What you will bring

University degree (or equivalent level of work experience)

Analytical experience with POS tools and working knowledge of Sales insights is an asset

3 – 5 Years of work experience with data analytics, business intelligence, statistical modeling in complex fast paced organization

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong critical thinking and strategic mindset

Curiosity with a solution focused approach

Demonstrated ability to develop and improve processes

Experience with BI reporting tools (Power BI or similar) as well as workflow automation

Best-in-class analytical, quantitative and organization skills

Excellent relationship management and communication skills

Experience with all levels of team members to customize Insights Communication

Maturity to know when to involve other cross functional partners/decision makers in the process for change management and decision making

Math competency which can help in quick error detection and reading the data tables

Effective power point skills for consistent communication across different teams

Compensation

As part of our commitment to fairness, trust, and transparency and our ambition to be an Employer of Choice, the base salary range for this position is $88 400 – $110 500+.

Please note: Along with a comprehensive Total Rewards package, your actual base salary will be fair, competitive, and be based on your skills, experience, and qualifications.
