About the role
Adecco is actively seeking a Project Coordinator for a full-time, permanent opportunity in Edmonton, AB, supporting our client, a well-established General Contractor specializing in commercial (ICI) construction. This role works closely with the Edmonton-based Project Management team to support the successful planning and execution of construction projects. The Project Coordinator will play a key role in coordinating site activities, supporting schedules and budgets, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. This position offers strong potential for professional growth within a collaborative, flexible, and engaging work environment.

Responsibilities:
- Support Project Managers and Site Superintendents with day-to-day project coordination and workload management
- Coordinate, schedule, and follow up with sub-trades to ensure productivity and adherence to project schedules
- Assist with maintaining and updating project schedules, cost tracking, and documentation
- Participate in site activities and attend client, safety, and trade meetings as required
- Assist Project Managers with pricing reviews, change orders, and progress tracking
- Monitor project activities to help achieve schedule compliance, cost control, and quality standards
- Maintain accurate and organized project records, reports, and correspondence
- Support compliance with construction contracts, drawings, specifications, and company procedures
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve issues and support project delivery
- Contribute to achieving project profitability, schedule attainment, and quality control objectives
Requirements:
- Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
- Post-secondary education in Construction Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related discipline
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in the commercial (ICI) construction sector
- Previous experience working with a General Contractor is required
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, drawings, and specifications
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple project activities and priorities simultaneously
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Project Managers, Site Superintendents, sub-trades, and clients
- ASET or APEGA designation (or working toward) considered an asset
