Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Ontario, Canada, for a Site Superintendent. The Site Superintendent will oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring all work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to specifications. Responsibilities include managing subcontractors, coordinating daily site activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, monitoring project progress, conducting quality assurance checks, maintaining site records, and communicating with internal teams and clients.

Qualifications

Experience in construction management, project planning, and overseeing industrial, commercial, or mixed-use construction projects Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Proficiency in reading blueprints and construction drawings Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in construction Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, subcontractors, and team members Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment Proficiency with project management software and tools is an asset
