Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a reliable and motivated Baker to join our Tim Hortons team. The Baker is responsible for preparing fresh baked goods, maintaining product quality, and ensuring food safety standards are met. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to delivering an excellent guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, bake, and finish donuts, muffins, cookies, bagels, croissants, and other bakery products according to Tim Hortons standards. Follow daily production schedules to ensure fresh products are available throughout the day. Decorate and display baked goods to company presentation standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized bakery and kitchen area. Operate bakery equipment safely and report any equipment issues. Rotate products using FIFO (First In, First Out) to minimize waste. Monitor inventory levels and restock baking supplies as needed. Receive and store deliveries following food safety guidelines. Follow all health, safety, and food handling procedures. Support team members and assist with other duties as required.
Qualifications
Qualifications Minimum 1 year of Tim Hortons Baker experience is required. Thorough knowledge of Tim Hortons baking procedures, production standards, and food safety requirements. Ability to prepare and bake all Tim Hortons bakery products according to brand standards. Strong understanding of FIFO (First In, First Out), product rotation, and inventory management. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet production schedules. Excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and consistency. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (11 kg) and stand for extended periods. Food Handler Certification is an asset. Availability to work early mornings, weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts.
