We are looking for an energetic and hardworking Customer Service Representative to join our team!
Job Summary
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Customer Service Representative provides the essential front-line service to customers and enters information into a central database to be used in tracking and tracing shipments.
Shift
Monday to Friday; 8:30 am – 17:00 pm
Location
2170 Matrix Cresent, Kelowna BC V1V 0C1
Key Responsibilities
- Answers inbound customer inquiries via both phone queuing system and email
- Enters pick up requests into local dispatch systems
- Use AS400/LTL400 software to track/trace shipments
- Liaise with dispatch as necessary
- Help maintain a neat work environment which may include tidying up the lunch room occasionally
- Work with Dispatchers and Drivers to confirm delivery and pick up
Qualification Requirements
- Maintain professional Customer Service oriented personality in all customer interactions
- Strong communications skills, both verbal and written
- Work well in a fast-paced team environment
- Strict attention to details
- Problem solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Transportation experience preferred but will train the right candidate
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting wage: $22.00/hour
- Comprehensive benefits package available including pension matching program upon successful completion of probationary period
