The Role
The AI Deployment Lead - Private Equity is a senior, client-facing individual contributor who leads hands-on AI enablement engagements across private equity firms and their portfolio companies. The role combines executive advisory, workshop facilitation, workflow redesign, use-case development, and practical solution building using enterprise AI platforms. You will own the engagement lifecycle from discovery and maturity assessment through use-case prioritization, deployment, adoption, and value measurement, working in partnership with TurnifAI's AI engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead AI deployment and enablement programs for private equity firms and portfolio companies.
- Advise investment teams, operating partners, executives, and functional leaders on practical AI adoption.
- Identify and develop use cases across deal sourcing, diligence, investment memos, Investment Committee preparation, portfolio monitoring, and value-creation planning.
- Lead workflow discovery across finance, HR, legal, sales, marketing, operations, procurement, supply chain, and IT.
- Facilitate executive sessions, functional workshops, and live build sessions with client teams.
- Build AI workflows, assistants, agents, prompts, knowledge solutions, automations, and prototypes using Claude, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or related platforms.
- Assess AI maturity, data readiness, platform suitability, governance requirements, and implementation feasibility.
- Prioritize opportunities based on business value, effort, risk, and data readiness.
- Partner with TurnifAI's AI engineering team to translate high-value use cases into scalable solutions.
- Define adoption and value metrics, including productivity, time savings, cost reduction, quality, and revenue impact.
Qualifications
- Four to six years of relevant experience in private equity operations, management consulting serving private equity clients, AI enablement, or a related field.
- Direct experience working with private equity firms, investment teams, operating teams, or portfolio companies is required.
- Strong understanding of the private equity investment lifecycle, including diligence, Investment Committee processes, portfolio monitoring, and value creation.
- Hands-on experience with at least one enterprise AI platform, preferably Claude or Microsoft Copilot; experience with ChatGPT is also valued.
- Experience building AI workflows, assistants, agents, prompts, automations, or prototypes.
- Working knowledge of RAG, APIs, integrations, data grounding, workflow automation, agent design, and human-in-the-loop controls.
- Experience identifying use cases, redesigning business processes, and translating business requirements into practical solutions.
- Strong analytical, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with senior executives, business teams, and technical stakeholders in a fast-paced remote environment.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, computer science, economics, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is an asset.
