Transdev Canada is hiring Fleet Attendants for our Abbotsford, BC location.

Your role:

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, or designate, a Fleet Attendant’s job duties will include:

• Safely drive and move buses within the yard and between locations as required.

• Assign buses to the appopriate paddles.

• Washing buses to uphold cleanliness and presentation standards;

• Cleaning the interior of the buses, including seats, railings, walls, and windows;

• Assisting with the cleanliness of work areas, the shop and grounds (as required);

• Assisting in fueling of buses (as required);

• Refuel buses and top up essensial fluids (oil, coolant, windshield washer, etc)

• Fulfilling any additional duties that may be assigned by a supervisor.

• Maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information seen or heard;

Your profile**:**

• Previous work experience in some form of cleaning/janitorial or carwash capacity is required.

• Ideal applicant is someone who understands what it takes to keep things clean and presentable.

• You are someone with an eye for detail and thrive in dynamic environments.

• You have a class 5 drivers license with a clean abstract.

• You must be able to pass drug and alcohol testing and background checks.

• Physical ability is required, as the role involves using pressure washers and cleaning hard surfaces.

Your location:

• This is a unionized role in Abbotsford & Chilliwack,
• The shifts can run any day from Sunday through Saturday, with start times as early as 4:30 am and end times as late as 1:00 am, for both locations
• Assisting with the cleanliness of work areas, the shop and grounds (as required);
• This position requires physical ability to stand and hold arms elevated while operating pressure washer, for extended periods.
