For over a decade, I've been privileged enough to get a front row seat to friends who have blown up. Authors and thought leaders like James Clear, Tim Ferriss, Ryan Holiday, Esther Perel and Dan Martell. Folks whose work has impacted tens, if not hundreds of millions.

Here's what almost nobody sees from the outside: not one of them did it alone. Behind every one of them is a right hand. The person who turns their ideas into content, runs the machine, and makes their message digestible enough to reach the world.

That's who I'm looking for. For years I started and stopped my own personal brand. At one point I accidentally had the #1 podcast in entrepreneurship. But I never fully committed.

Now I have a book coming out this fall and the traction has been beyond my wildest dreams. So I'm going all in. I'm looking for a right hand to get in at the ground floor and drive the growth of my brand. Not to sell more books, but to carry the message further, to the people who need it, on the platforms where they already are.

There's a lane wide open right now. Nobody has planted a flag as the voice for community and connection in the entrepreneurial world. I've spent over a decade earning the right to be that voice. I just need a right hand to help me carry it.


Here's more about the role...

This role is both intimate and hands-on. You'll shape creative direction, film, edit, package, and publish.

Early on, we'll work closely, which means real time together in person. I'll pour into you, fund your growth, bring in coaches and courses, and hand you everything I know.

Over time, you'll take the lead on more of it. You'll bring in contractors as we need them: editors, writers, whatever the work demands. The goal is that in a year or two, you're running the day-to-day, and I'm just the guy in front of the camera.


What you'll own

Take the long-form I record, on YouTube and the podcast, and cut it into everything else: shorts, reels, clips, and posts across YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Own the publishing. You post it, you schedule it, you keep it moving. Own the packaging. Titles, thumbnails, hooks, the first few seconds. This is where videos live or die, and it's yours. Read the analytics and bring me the story they tell. What's working, what isn't, and what we do next. Help shape what we make. Bring me the topics and angles worth chasing. Help me build the podcast, where I sit down with the best event producers and community builders in the world.


Who I'm looking for

One thing matters more than anything else, and expect this to come through in your application: you're early in your career, driven, and you learn fast.

Beyond that

You can shoot and edit today. Well enough to start, and hungry enough to get great. You have real agency. You take something ambiguous and carry it all the way to done. You have taste, and opinions, and you're not afraid to share them. You can run a project end to end. Timelines, details, follow-through, all of it.


Compensation

On-target earnings of $80,000 to $95,000+ CAD: a base plus a performance bonus tied to audience and podcast growth. Reviewed every quarter. We'd start with a 90-day contract so we can both make sure it's a fit before going all in. About compensation. I won't let a number stand between me and the right person. If you're reading this certain you can take this further and faster than I've laid out, with little hand-holding, let's talk. And more broadly: to me, compensation is always a conversation, and an ongoing one. Roles change, responsibilities shift, and you may walk in with a mix of experience worth more than the range on the page.
