About the role

Job Description At CAE, our Technology & Product Development team is shaping the future through immersive systems and innovative technologies that enhance safety and readiness worldwide. From VR/AR solutions to advanced simulation systems, you will work in a collaborative environment with continuous learning opportunities. CAE is seeking a SOC Analyst (CSIRT) to join its growing cybersecurity team. You will play a key role in monitoring, detecting, and responding to security events to help protect CAE's digital assets. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals starting their cybersecurity careers in a fast-paced SOC environment. Duties & Responsibilities Monitor and analyze security events from multiple sources. Detect, analyze and triage incidents. Document investigations and maintain records. Support incident response activities. Prepare reports and communicate findings. Stay up to date on cybersecurity threats and trends. Maintain and improve SOC processes. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field. Relevant certifications may substitute education. Knowledge of security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, DLP, firewalls). Preferred Qualifications Analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure. Knowledge of networking protocols and operating systems. Understanding of common attack techniques. Experience in cybersecurity is an asset. Basic French language skills considered an asset.
