One of the sunniest regions in BC’s Lower Mainland, Delta embraces three unique communities – Ladner, North Delta and Tsawwassen. The City of Delta is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team and share in our commitment to lead the way in public service excellence.

City of Delta is looking for dynamic, creative, and energetic Visual Arts Instructors to teach our recreational arts programs for children, youth and adults. Arts instructors are responsible for the planning and delivering of quality, instructional, and engaging courses in drawing, painting, mixed media, anime, sculpting, textiles and/or photography. Classes are offered Monday through Friday in July and August

If you have the following skills and abilities, this position may be for you:

  • Experience teaching drawing, painting, mixed media art, anime, textiles, sculpting
  • Formal training is an asset but not required; having a love of art and want to transfer that to students they teach is a must
  • Able to work independently
  • Programs are offered in Tsawwassen, Ladner, and/or North Delta

The City of Delta provides a competitive salary of $31.00 per hour + 12% in lieu of vacation, public holidays and benefits. Interested applicants are requested to apply online at by February 3, 2026.
