Salary:$68,000 - $79,500

Position Summary
The Senior HR Generalist plays a key role in stabilizing and strengthening Morin Supply’s HR operations across Ontario and Quebec. This position supports employees and managers on day-to-day HR matters, helps maintain compliance and process consistency, and ensures strong execution across core HR programs including leaves, benefits, onboarding/offboarding, employee support, HRIS data integrity, and health and safety administration.
This role is ideal for a strong, hands-on HR professional who can operate independently, exercise sound judgment, and bring structure, follow-through, and professionalism to a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Employee and Manager Support
- Serve as a first point of contact for employees and managers on day-to-day HR matters, policy interpretation, and employee support.
- Provide practical HR guidance to managers and ensure consistent documentation and follow-through.
- Manage the HR inbox and respond to inquiries in a timely, professional, and solutions-focused manner.
- Coordinate employee offboarding and related documentation/process steps.
Benefits, Leaves, and HR Administration
- Administer benefits enrollments, changes, and employee support questions.
- Coordinate leave-related processes including sick leave, disability, WSIB, CNESST, and accommodation tracking.
- Maintain accurate employee records, attendance data, vacation balances, and general HR documentation.
- Support payroll-related HR administration by ensuring employee data changes are accurate and timely.
Programs, Compliance, and Process Execution
- Support execution of core HR programs across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, engagement initiatives, recognition, health and safety coordination, and policy administration.
- Apply sound judgment and support compliance with employment-related requirements in Ontario and Quebec.
- Assist with maintaining organized, audit-ready documentation and HR files.
- Support process improvement and help standardize HR workflows and practices.
Health and Safety Support
- Support health and safety administration, including documentation, monthly actions, and coordination related to JHSC requirements.
- Help ensure onboarding and ongoing HR processes align with workplace safety expectations and internal standards.
HRIS and Data Governance
- Maintain strong data accuracy and system integrity within BambooHR and related HR systems.
- Support reporting, dashboards, tracking, and audit preparation.
- Help build scalable, disciplined HR administration practices that support future growth.
Qualifications

Minimum4 to 6 yearsof progressive HR experience in a generalist or advisor-level role. -Bilingual in English and French, both written and verbal.

Experience supporting managers and employees on a broad range of HR matters.

Experience with leaves, accommodations, benefits administration, and employee documentation.

Working knowledge of employment practices inOntario and Quebec.

Experience working in an HRIS and maintaining strong data accuracy and file discipline.

Health and safety administration experience is an asset.
Working Conditions

50/50 coverage between Ottawa and Gatineau locations.

On-site presence required based on business needs.
