Your day will look like this:

  • With the collaboration of the workshop technicians and using the order form, prepare generally basic orders, scan them, and insert them in the transportation boxes;

  • With the help of the technician, ensure that all necessary accessories for the operation of the equipment are provided (cabling, PSU, gelatin, bracket remote control, etc.);

  • Perform verification tests to ensure that all equipment is in good working condition;

  • Clean and perform a visual inspection on all equipment;

  • Upgrade items (ex: painting, cleaning, etc.);

  • Follow the quality and preparation standards of the company and/or industry;

  • All other duties related to the position.

Your profile:

  • Experience in a relevant audiovisual field

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an audiovisual equipment workshop or on events

  • Able to lift heavy loads;

  • Show flexibility in his working schedule;

  • Experience in a warehouse, a workshop or a plant;

  • Valid forklift driver’s license (an asset);

  • Master basic English, both oral and written (an asset);

  • Highly developed organizational skills and meticulousness;

  • Positive attitude;

  • Autonomous;

  • Team-work oriented and cooperation spirit;

  • Show flexibility towards flextime schedules;

  • Ability to work under pressure and easily adapt to changing.

  • Reason for the position: Replacement

  • Solotech provides a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position in accordance with Ontario pay transparency requirements. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, location, experience, training, certifications, and internal equity. Final compensation will be determined at the time of hire. A reasonable estimate of the current hourly wage range is $21.81 to $28.60.
