About the role
Job Role : Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) Consultant - Expert Duration : 6 Months of duration (Need to go 3-4 days in week onsite) Location : Vancouver, BC
Daily Responsibilities: Describe a typical ‘day in the life’ Acquire deep understanding of the control environment and ongoing regulatory program deliverables and timelines Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to gather evidence and prepare responses to regulatory requests Address audit findings and track remediation efforts Identify compliance gaps and recommend mitigations Prepare reports for management or regulatory bodies Interact with Application Security Leads that oversee SAST, OSS, DAST scanning and Penetration Testing. Collaborate with stakeholders on integration to enterprise technologies
Must-have Skills:
Excellent leadership and collaboration skills: The ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including application security teams, vulnerability management, and risk partners, is crucial for success in this role. The candidate must understand, speak, and write in both technical and simplified language, translating technical concepts between various audiences and partner teams including communications to auditor or regulator audiences. Audit and regulatory compliance expertise: Experience with managing audit, regulatory and key control testing engagements, is essential for this position. Strong understanding of security risk management frameworks: The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of security best practices, risk management principles, and industry-recognized security frameworks.
