Role Summary
As a Data Integration Specialist, your role centers on helping people leverage geoLOGIC’s Energy Industry data. Using your experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools, as well as data warehouses and end-user applications, you will ensure a variety of internal and external clients achieve their desired outcomes.
You will work closely with the Data Services and Solutions teams, acquiring deep knowledge of our data products (gDC and others) and an awareness of client needs, technical requirements, and delivery platforms. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, detail-oriented, and thrives in client-facing environments.
Reporting to the Data Services Manager, this role is pivotal in advancing geoLOGIC's data delivery, client onboarding, and technical support initiatives. It combines technical expertise, client advocacy, and cross-functional collaboration to support product development, client satisfaction, and strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Work with data stored in Oracle, Postgres, Elasticsearch, Snowflake, and Azure SQL
- Serve as a technical liaison to ensure successful data integration and client satisfaction
- Provide Tier 2 support for data product clients, diagnosing and resolving integration issues
- Assist in onboarding and supporting clients subscribing to geoLOGIC’s gDC and other data products (Oracle, Snowflake, Azure SQL, Postgres)
- Discuss technologies and technical needs with stakeholders, guiding them to the right delivery medium
- Provide insight into geoLOGIC’s data structure and help clients find the data that matters to them
- Participate in major projects, including transitioning gDC data delivery from Oracle to Snowflake or Postgres
- Refine, optimize, and maintain internal data pipelines
- Provide technical input into future geoLOGIC data offerings
- Explore new technologies and techniques to enhance data integration
- Document integration processes, data mappings, and pipeline designs for future reference and knowledge sharing
- Support preparation of data for first-party applications and tools such as Power BI
- Communicate product defects and enhancements to the data, design, and development teams
- Maintain close relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
- Capture client feedback and advocate for workflow improvements within Data, Design, Development, and Quality Assurance teams
- Log client communications and activities into the Salesforce CRM system
Internal Collaboration & Mentorship
- Share knowledge and expertise across Customer Experience and Data Services teams
- Provide technical onboarding for new hires on geoLOGIC’s data suite
- Mentor junior staff and foster cross-departmental collaboration to integrate innovative solutions aligned with emerging industry trends, best practices, and client demands

- Advanced ETL/ELT skills and experience consolidating data from disparate sources into centralized databases or data warehouses
- Experience feeding data into end-user applications, such as analytics tools (Power BI, Spotfire)
- Expertise with SQL, Oracle, Postgres, and Snowflake
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to collaborate
- Comfortable in a client-facing role
- Knowledge of Energy Industry data

- Ability to develop interactive dashboards
- Experience with Postgres, Power BI, Spotfire, Python
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch
- Experience using Databricks or similar big data frameworks for data processing
- Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory) and cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure) related to data integration deployments
- Working experience with GIS and spatial data
