About the role

Vixxo Facilities Solutions is seeking a full-time, home-based Regional Operations Manager to support multi-state customer sites across UT, NV, and AZ.

The Role As a Regional Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction across your assigned region. You will coordinate with various departments and teams within Vixxo, as well as with external service providers, to improve coverage and drive performance improvement. You will achieve this by leading a small team, building strong relationships with our customers and service providers, and conducting regular business reviews and field visits to understand their needs and feedback. You will lead and develop a small team of Facilities Leads and a Facilities Capital Manager that will be critical to ensuring customer success.

Top 5 Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with resources across departments in Vixxo to ensure the needs of the customer are being addressed quickly and correctly.
  • Remotely lead and develop a small team of Facilities Leads and a Facilities Capital Manager to own the day-to-day workload of coordinating reactive, planned, project, and capital services.
  • Work very closely with the Service Provider Management team to assist with new vetting new contractor capabilities, own the service provider relationships, and drive the service execution side of Vixxo’s interactions with Service Providers.
  • Meet with Service Providers in the field and remotely to conduct business reviews, provide feedback, and offer support.
  • Meet with customer counterparts in the field when necessary to understand their expectations and challenges, and develop a strong relationship with them to drive business growth.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in facilities management or related industry; field experience is preferred. Management of multiple sites in commercial and/or retail preferred.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience leading and managing team members, ideally remotely and within the facilities services or customer service industry.
  • Possess a strong knowledge of building systems and facility maintenance and operations, with technical/mechanical trade experience, especially in HVAC&R, Food Service & Beverage, Gas Station Equipment, Plumbing, and Electrical systems.
  • A strong understanding of current contractor pricing trends, pricing evaluation, work scope validation, and competitive negotiation skills.
  • Above-average mastery of Excel and proficiency with most major Microsoft products, including Outlook, Word, Power BI, PowerPoint, OneDrive, and OneNote. Using Microsoft Office in a professional environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Education, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Education Requirement:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or significant trade experience will typically be needed.
  • Trade management experience preferred
