Production / Operations Manager – Medical Devices

Location: 10 Kodiak Crescent Ste 120, North York, ON M3J 3G5 Duration: 6-12 months

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Production / Operations Manager to lead medical device manufacturing operations and ensure efficient, compliant, and scalable production. This role is responsible for overseeing production planning, quality, inventory management, supplier coordination, and cross-functional collaboration while driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily production and manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
• Manage production planning, inventory, and supplier performance to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, GMP, and other applicable medical device regulations.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Regulatory teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Drive Lean manufacturing, process improvements, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs, resolve production issues, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and quality.
• Support the scaling of manufacturing operations to meet business growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in production or operations management within the medical device or other regulated manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of production planning, quality systems, inventory management, supplier coordination, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
