Superintendent (Live-in)-Midtown, ON

Join Everworth by Park Property Management at 235 Balliol Street, a newly built residential apartment community, as a Superintendent. In this role, you will help create a vibrant living environment where exceptional service and high-quality standards come together. You’ll support day-to-day operations by performing preventative and responsive maintenance, coordinating repairs, maintaining cleanliness throughout the property, and contributing to health and safety initiatives-all with the goal of delivering an outstanding resident experience.

The base salary range for this position is from $30,000 - $35,000 annually. The starting base salary may vary based on job-related knowledge, role complexity, skills, experience, and internal equity, with opportunities for progression within the range as team members grow and develop in their roles.

What Will You Do:

  • 24-hour on-call emergency response coverage isrequiredon a rotation basis
  • Perform administrative duties
  • Coordination of month-end duties and responsibilities, including pre-inspection & turnover of vacant suites
  • Ensure resident issues and service requests are addressed within 24-hours (minor repairs and maintenance tasks)
  • Accompany vendors and contractors while work is being completed and reporting progress to the management office team asrequired
  • Familiar with the emergency operation of electrical, elevator, boiler, fire panel and safety systems, mechanical systems, emergency generator,sprinklerand timer systems
  • Complete maintenance asrequired. Some examples include, clogged sinks, lighting replacement and repair, toilets or flood clean up
  • Ensure operations records, files and documentation aremaintainedaccurately andtimelyandin accordance withestablished procedures
  • Consistentlymaintaina safe and clean work environment
  • Seek ways to exceed service expectations of residents
  • Cleaning duties, as assigned by Property Manager or designate

Who You Are:

  • A minimum of two (2) years or relevant work experience or an apprenticeship or combination thereof
  • Superior ability to develop and sustain cooperating working relationships with team members, contractors, the public and residents
  • Able to communicate effectively and professionally in English, both oral and written
  • High degree of diplomacy, integrity, discretion, and confidentiality
  • Completion of high schoolrequired. A trade certificate or license would be considered an asset
  • Related hands-on experience with Multi-Residential Property Management with a strong service ethic commitment
  • Awareness of Occupational Health and Safety and WHMIS management practices
  • Basic understanding of all applicable laws, legislation, and rights concerning resident/landlordrelations
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and manage tight deadlines
  • Eligible to work in Canada and will be subject to a criminal background check
  • Ability to communicate effectively using a smart phone
  • Ability to work and live on-site,showcasingstrong teamwork and collaboration skills
