About the role

The IS Valuation Initiatives team is within the CFO Canada organization. CFO Canada is responsible for the valuation and financial reporting processes associated with our Canadian lines of business. The IS Valuation Initiatives team focuses on Insurance Solutions and Wealth Solutions products, providing support to production teams during critical reporting periods, performing system and model development work associated with re-pricing, product launches, legacy system transformation, and other various internal and external initiatives, as well as handling security access and AXIS administrative tasks. This role is located at our London Head Office.

As a Development Specialist within the IS Valuation Initiatives area, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Monitor the security of our area by managing access reviews of our networks and AD groups
  • Handle Moody’s AXIS Administrative tasks such as invoicing and license provisioning
  • Work with Moody’s Axis software, as well as various mainframe systems
  • Develop knowledge of our Insurance Solutions and Wealth Solutions products, systems, valuation models and processes
  • Gain exposure to the new financial reporting standard (IFRS 17)
  • Be a part of a fast-paced and dynamic team

What You Will Do

  • Ensure security review of area network drives and AD groups are completed consistent with controls processes
  • Handle all security and administration tasks associated with Moody’s AXIS
  • Produce quarterly reports for the production teams
  • Investigate system, modeling, and process issues as they arise providing recommendations and implementing solutions
  • Perform model development and process design work associated with various initiatives

The base salary for this position is between $55,700 - $92,800 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
