The Human Resources Assistant performs a wide variety of HR administrative duties while providing technical and general support within the department. Building strong relationships with multiple stakeholders in a complex unionized organization is pivotal to the position.
Desired Skills and Experience

A relevant 2-year post-secondary diploma or certificate combined with 5 years of HR experience, ideally in multi-union public sector.

Knowledgeable with Human Right code, Employment standards Act and Workers’ Compensation Act

Demonstrated ability to compose a variety of documents of confidential and complex nature using superior research skills including HR statistical reports

A strong capacity to manage ever-changing priorities and high-volume workload.
