About the role

Education: College/CEGEP. Parks, recreation and leisure studies. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Municipal government. Budgetary responsibility: $500,001 - $1,500,000. Tasks: Develop and manage programs and services. Develop policies and procedures to implement programs. Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses. Arrange for sponsorships from public and private organizations. Supervision: 5-10 people. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel. MS Outlook. MS PowerPoint. MS Word. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Willing to travel. Public transportation is not available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Tight deadlines. Personal suitability: Excellent written communication. Organized. Reliability. Team player.
