Job Description: Reporting to the Manager, the incumbent is responsible for the

screening and coordination of initial service requests for all programs within Mental Health and Addictions Services (MHAS) in the Saskatchewan Health Authority. The Assessor Coordinator - Degree provides screening, triage, assessment for urgency/risk, and coordinates case assignments. The position facilitates crisis response and short-term support for services to clients presenting with a variety of mental health and addictions issues. The Assessor Coordinator - Degree provides consultation to Community Agencies and Programs, regarding services available in Mental Health and Addiction Services (MHAS).

Experience

• Experience in mental health & addictions is an asset

Education

• Bachelor Degree in a related Health Science or Social Science discipline

Licenses

• Valid Class 5 driver's license

• Demonstrate knowledge of the Mental Health Services Act/related legislation
• Knowledge in community resources and services in the clinical area
• Knowledge/ability using MH&A screening to meet mental/physical needs of clients
