Responsibilities What You’ll Do:
- Lead and Engage a High-Performance Team: Direct and inspire a production team of 16-20 employees, fostering collaboration and accountability to meet performance goals.
- Ensure Quality, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Uphold production processes that meet quality, safety, and environmental standards, creating a safe and compliant work environment.
- Optimize Production Resources: Monitor productivity, adjust tasks and scheduling, and efficiently allocate resources to meet production targets.
- Train and Develop Team Members: Coach and support team members in enhancing their skills and professional growth through performance management and development programs.
- Support Administrative Operations: Manage scheduling, payroll processing, and daily reporting to maintain efficient operations.
Qualifications What We’re Looking For:

Education:

Minimum: Post-secondary diploma or trade certification in industrial technology, engineering, or a related field.

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in industrial technology, forestry, or business administration

Experience:
-
Minimum: 4+ years of supervisory experience in a production environment.

Preferred: Experience in industrial or sawmill operations.

Certifications:
-
Minimum: None required.

Preferred: Relevant safety or industry certifications.

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong leadership and team management abilities

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Understanding of safety, quality, and environmental standards
