About the role
Job Description POSITION SUMMARY The Commercial Estimator will contribute to ECCO Supply’s expansion by enhancing our current sales of mechanical equipment and related products to our Bid & Spec customer base. Their role involves accurately and efficiently reviewing plans, itemizing products, and preparing quotes. It is expected that the Commercial Estimator executes all tasks promptly and meticulously, showcasing their utmost care, integrity, and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Make a personal commitment to consistently provide superior customer service to ECCO’s customers so they will want to do repeat business with ECCO Manufacturing
- Complete engineered drawing take-offs of commercial grilles/registers/diffusers (GRD) & mechanical equipment
- Assemble accurate and timely tenders including quantities and sell prices for the commercial GRD & mechanical equipment
- Project management once successful job tenders have been awarded
Qualification
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years working in the HVAC industry
- Project management, along with experience in running commercial HVAC jobs an asset
- Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues
- Solid technical, communication and presentation skills to assist customers with proper HVAC selection
