About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Power Platform & ERP Solutions Developer to join our Information Technology (IT) Department. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in database development, programming and ERP utilization, particularly within the manufacturing and logistics sectors. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting business applications and data solutions that drive operational efficiency and digital transformation. This role will work directly within the IT Department as a Technical Analyst and will be required to be in close communication with production staff, procurement, engineering and IT daily to help support the various systems used in the company.

Location: 160 Consolidated Drive, Paris, ON

Dedicated Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday

Job Duties:

  • Design and develop custom applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Platforms and Pages
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models using Power BI, including DAX and Power Query
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation
  • Support Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management
  • Integrate systems using Web Services (AJAX, REST API, JSON, XML)
  • Program and customize solutions using X++, C#, or JavaScript
  • Utilize Microsoft middleware tools such as SSIS, Azure Logic Apps, and Power Automate
  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions tailored to the manufacturing and logistics industry
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across platforms and applications

Qualifications:

  • Education in related disciplines such as: Computer Science, Information Technology/Information Systems, Software Engineering or Data Science
  • Microsoft Certifications an asset: Power Platform Developer Associate, Dynamics 365 Fundamentals / Functional Consultant, Azure Solutions Architect / Developer, Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP), SQL Server Certification (e.g., MCSA)
  • Power BI Proficiency:
  • Building dashboards, reports and data models
  • DAX - Writing formulas for calculated columns and measures
  • Power Query - Data transformation and cleaning
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 / Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management considered an asset
  • Development with the following technologies an asset:
  • SQL Queries
  • Web Services (AJAX, REST API, JSON, XML)
  • Programming in X++, C# or JavaScript
  • Microsoft middleware (SSIS, Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate)
  • Experience in designing / implementing cloud solutions for manufacturing / logistics industry
