The Opportunity

As a Fraud Prevention Analyst in our Claims team, you will play a critical role in detecting, preventing, and investigating fraudulent activity. By analyzing data, reviewing claims, and collaborating with internal and external partners, you will help ensure we continue to deliver fair outcomes to our members while protecting the integrity of our business.

How you will create an impact

As Fraud Prevention Analyst, you will:

  • Review claims flagged by automated fraud detection tools and conduct daily claim reviews for potential fraud indicators.
  • Liaise with Claims Leaders to raise awareness of risk indicators and support development of investigation plans.
  • Refer matters for advanced investigation to Senior Claims Investigators and assist in Open-Source Investigations.
  • Manage assignments and case tracking through the FRISS Case Management tool.
  • Analyze referral and detection results to identify fraud trends and organized activity.
  • Support fraud-related reporting, data extracts, and proposals to leadership, law enforcement, or industry partners.
  • Collaborate with Claims, Underwriting, and Distribution teams to share insights on emerging risks and trends.
  • Assist in the development of fraud awareness training and awareness initiatives across Claims.

What you will bring

  • Post-secondary education or professional designation in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in P&C claims adjust ing (with a combination of Auto PD, A B/BI injury, residential, commerc ial, and/or farm property)
  • CIP/CRM/FCIP designation (or working towards).
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience in fraud detection, claims analysis, or insurance investigations is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with data tools (e.g., Power BI, FR ISS), and high level of computer literacy including Open Source investigation techniques.
  • Effective communication skills — verbal, written, and interpersonal — with the ability to convey investigative findings clearly.
  • A collaborative approach with strong relationship-building skills across teams and with external partners.
  • High standards of ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
