Weekend Shift Fabrication - CNC Plasma Operator, CNC Brake Operator, and Kitter/Material Handler
We are launching a weekend shift within our Prefabrication Department and are hiring for three separate roles: CNC Plasma Operator, CNC Brake Operator, and Kitter/Material Handler.
Applicants will be considered for the role that best matches their experience, technical ability, and overall fit within the team. Selection will be based on a combination of technical skill, mechanical knowledge, and hands-on ability suited to a fast-paced fabrication environment.
Each position plays an important role in supporting efficient workflow, quality production, and safe operations across the department.
SHIFT DETAILS
- 12-hour shifts, Friday to Sunday - get paid for 40 hours
- Shift: 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
- Extra $3.00/hour shift premium on top of your base pay
- Work is based out of our Rosenort, MB facility (about 35 minutes south of Winnipeg)

Each position plays an important role in supporting efficient workflow, quality production, and safe operations across the department.
CNC Plasma Operator
- Operate CNC plasma cutting machines to cut steel components per work orders
- Read and interpret blueprints and CAD files
- Load materials and monitor cutting operations
- Perform basic machine maintenance and consumable changes
- Track remnants and ensure proper job tracking in Genius software
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain clean work areas
CNC Brake Operator
- Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to bend metal components
- Interpret engineering drawings and bending specifications
- Load, align, and inspect materials for accuracy
- Perform quality checks and adjust machine settings as needed
- Record production data and maintain traceability in Genius software
- Follow strict safety and PPE requirements
Kitter / Material Handler
- Sort and organize work orders based on production schedule
- Kit finished parts for downstream processes
- Move materials between departments using forklifts
- Assist with plasma table support and remnant tracking
- Ensure accurate job tracking in Genius software
- Maintain efficient workflow and organization in staging areas
Shared Requirements (All Roles)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong combination of technical skill, mechanical knowledge, and hands-on ability
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and teamwork mindset
