About The Role We are recruiting for an experienced Quality Control Inspector, Level 2 to join our team at an upcoming shutdown with IPL to replace a heat exchanger at CNRL Horizon site.
Start Date: August 24, 2026
End Date: October 10, 2026 Shift: 10/4 schedule which switches to 6/1 and then 10/4. 3 rotations in total. Hours - 10hrs/day for pre-turnaround and post-turnaround. 12hrs/day during execution.

Long term disability, AD&D, life insurance & dependent life Insurance. Paid holidays. Cell phone allowance or company provided cell phone. A company provided laptop. *DSP’s - hourly wage only plus vehicle and insurance allowance; no overtime, benefits, vacation or stat holiday pay Job Duties and Responsibilities Develop discipline ITPs and ensure stages are followed. Maintaining project quality records, logs and turnover documents. Material receiving, inspection and verification. Appropriate planning of work to ensure project requirements are being met. Sub contractor quality management, status oversight and review of documents. Read civil and piping drawings, GA's and PID's. Coordinate, monitor and review NDT and reporting. Monitoring of welding, weld mapping and visual inspections.
Able to construct hydrotest packs and complete final walkdowns
Complete redline and as-built drawings integrated with RFIs & MoC directives. Civil and Structural inspections and reporting.
Education/Skills/Qualifications
CWB Level 2 certification with 5+ years of plant site experience. Strong understanding of civil earthworks is required. Strong mechanical QC experience in piping systems, pressure testing, and mechanical completion Strong time management skills and ability to handle a multitude of concurrent tasks. Strong computer skills, especially in the use of Microsoft and Google Suite of products. We are a Google-based company. Self-motivated, organized and able to work in a high-pressure deadline driven environment. Understands Quality Inspection Procedures, Tools and Equipment. Physically fit. Must be able to climb scaffolding, access trenches and work in variable weather conditions. Working knowledge of ASME, ABSA, and CSA codes and client standards structure. Must have the following safety tickets: WHMIS 2015, H2S Alive, CSTS-2020 or equivalent Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
