If you have a passion for agriculture, a positive attitude and excitement for learning, a seasonal position as a Crop Scout with Sunderland Co-operative Inc., is for you! Sunderland Co-operative can provide you with the necessary tools to expand your knowledge and experience of the agriculture industry.
Key Responsibilities

- Co-ordinate field trials and analyze results
- Provide support to the sales team within your territory
- Support in providing superior customer service to growers
- Collecting and testing of soil and plant tissue samples
- Handling and delivering crop input products
- Regular facility maintenance & housekeeping
- Commitment to maintaining a safe & compliant working environment
- Other duties as assigned
Assets
-
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited post-secondary institution in Agriculture, Science, Business or related field
- G class license
- Ability to work independently, as well as contribute to a team
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift a max weight of 50lbs
Working Conditions
-
- Indoors/outdoors, occasionally in inclement weather.
- Regular driving.
- Routine office hours
