In this role, you will proactively maintain strong expertise and lead marketing projects that significantly contribute to the organization’s success. We are currently seeking a confident, highly organized Production Manager who will be accountable for delivering the annual digital brochures, printed mini brochures and other digital and non-digital projects. This includes overseeing all branded swag requests and orders, as well as production requirements for the annual product launch events. You will be responsible for optimizing processes, enhancing cross-departmental communications, introducing innovative production practices and tools, ensuring quality control and managing a team of Production Specialists.

You have experience working in a fast-paced environment. You are knowledgeable, creative, and driven by a genuine desire to see your team achieve its full potential. You possess deep expertise in production procedures that span multiple months, extensive project management skills, and the ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance. Decision-making and problem-solving will be key aspects of your role.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Own the strategic vision, ideation, and timely delivery of Air Canada Vacations' digital and traditional brochures in alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead the development of new projects by scoping out their maximum potential, presenting project objectives and building roadmaps
  • Manage resource allocation, budgeting and cost management
  • Define and improve customer communication at destinations.
  • Define & implement new revenue opportunities associated to the digital brochure
  • Enhance current communication tools to support new destination launches
  • Own process development & technology integration of Air Canada Vacation branded promotional items onto the Air Canada boutique
  • Optimize and identify production process improvements that enhance cross-functional collaboration.
  • Manage workback schedules for timely delivery of projects
  • Organize and lead strategic cross-departmental planning sessions and weekly touchpoints
  • Ensure all deliverables and assets adhere to Air Canada Vacations brand guidelines
  • Oversee print production quality assurance
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on all post-project performance.
  • Manage multiple priorities while aligning deliverables with business needs and departmental objectives
  • Accountable for content accuracy and quality control
  • Collaborate effectively with multiple internal and external partners to ensure alignment, information accuracy, and project prioritization (Creative, Copywriting, Consumer Growth and Engagement, Email Marketing, E-Commerce, Revenue Management, Product, Sales, etc.).
  • Coordinate various partner marketing initiatives with the Partner Marketing team (In-Flight Entertainment)
  • Provide consulting, propose solutions, and support Marketing Managers in executing several marketing and communications projects.
  • Benchmark and stay informed about industry activity and trends

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Qualifications and skills required

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in Project Management
  • University degree in Marketing or equivalent
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production department
  • Experience managing a production team, including external freelancers
  • Experience in the travel industry an asset
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent oral communication and writing skills (English and French)
  • Strong ability to adapt quickly, work independently, manage priorities and work under pressure
  • Excellent team spirit, positive attitude, interpersonal and listening skills
  • Proactivity, resourcefulness, and attention to details
  • Creativity, curiosity, and drive to challenge status quo
  • Proficiency in Office 365
  • Experience working with Jira an asset
