SAP Inventory Control Specialist
About the role
Our client, a Leading international provider of automotive and mobility technologies, is looking to hire SAP Logistics Specialists to help support their location in the Markham, ON area.
Please note - this job is 100% in office, and is a Monday to Friday 9:00AM to 5:00PM Shift. Occasional overtime may be required.
About The Role
We are looking for an experienced SAP-savvy logistics professional to join our clients team. This role goes beyond the basics, it involves working closely with the business on day-to-day operations such as material handling, shipping and receiving, inventory monitoring, and cycle counts. The ideal candidate will have strong SAP knowledge (especially in logistics modules) and hands-on experience in discrepancy analysis and material planning
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and support material planning and receiving processes involving warehouse locations and suppliers.
- Review daily shipment plans and compare receiving plans against actual receipts.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies using SAP, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
- Perform inventory verification and cycle counts to maintain data integrity.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) for data analysis.
- SAP ECC experience with strong knowledge of PP (Production Planning) and MM (Materials Management) modules.
- Proven ability to perform detailed manual analysis and problem-solving in a logistics environment.
- Experience with receiving processes and discrepancy resolution in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
