Title: Funding Arrangements Advisor (Internal Only)

Salary: $83,318 - $90,034 per year (pay range explained below)

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 Hours per week (core hours 9:00am-3:00pm Monday-Friday)

Location: Park Royal or Alberni (Metro Vancouver) located on the ancestral Coast Salish Territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations – Hybrid (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy). Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway in Spring 2027.

Bargaining Unit: PSAC Local 22000 (Public Service Alliance of Canada)

About The Role As the Funding Arrangements Advisor, you will manage health service funding arrangements and provide outreach and consultation to a range of First Nations organizations. This role will manage and maintain funding arrangement reporting, providing information and advice concerning reporting requirements, scheduling, and forms. And this role will develop and recommend action plans to address observations and findings of audit reviews and reconciliations. As well as this role will consult and collaborate with First Nation communities to enable them to assess options and make informed decisions.

About You To be successful in this role you will have-

Education And Experience

  • Diploma in Business Administration or relevant field, plus three (3) years of related experience working with First Nations communities, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of FNHA community health and wellness programs and services
  • Knowledge of FNHA health funding arrangements

Competencies

  • Awareness of the importance of First Nations cultural identity as part of a healthy, balanced lifestyle for individuals within a community.
  • Knowledge of data entry, manipulation and retrieval techniques, and database management.
  • Ability to use related software.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to handle conflict and problem solve.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position

Working Conditions

  • Requires travel within BC
  • A valid BC Driver’s License is required
